What would you like us to blog about?

Published 10/17/2006 by Mitchell Harper

Both Eddie and I have noticed that 90% of our blogs are simply product updates, which doesn't give you much incentive to subsribe to our blog feed. As of today we'll also be including our thoughts, rants, links and anything else we can find relating to topics such as business, marketing, development, web site design and any general words of widsom we come across.

To get the ball rolling we're asking YOU to reply to my post with a list of topics that you'd like us to blog about. Don't be shy. List as many topics as you like and we'll get started tomorrow :)

How about CSS, making money with Interspire products, search engine optimization, persuasion architecture, websites examples built with Interspire products, and the future of Interspire and the long term vision of the product line.

I am currently developing a site using ArticleLive (excellent product btw) and I see here in your blog the "Spread the Word" section with "Digg this" button etc.
How can I put same on my blogs?
Thanks.

[Editors note] Hi Marcus. Jordie hacked this feature into our version of ArticleLive running on Interspire.com and will be releasing it shortly in an ArticleLive updated. In the meantime he will post a hack in the forum (which he will blog about); so keep an eye out for his blog!

I would like to see step by step guides how we can intigrate your products with others out there such as the KB and vBulliten forum software working together with the same login info. Or step by sep guides how to make changes to the layout of your software such as how to make my own hierarchy tree branch for the navigation of the KB etc.

stuff like that.

I have three suggestions: 1) a step-by-step guide on developing custom templates and then adding them to Article Live's set of template choices, 2) how to set up forum software so that it seamlessly works with Article Live - in fact, why not have Interspire develop a forum module that can be purchased along with Article Live? 3) using Article Live as a storefront or php product catalog for ecommerce.

Keep up the good work . . . your products rock!!

Steve
