SendStudio NX Update

Published 11/15/2006 by Eddie Machaalani

Development of SendStudio NX has been progressing rather well the last few weeks and we're really close to a beta.

Here's a few screenshots showcasing some new features and the new design which will be a part of all our products. (Thanks to Elena our new designer):

Nice. Remember, though: Include some decent filtering and listing functions. It would be nice to be able to send to multiple lists at once, export multiple lists in one job, combine/exclude multiple lists, send only to users who have previously opened an HTML email, etc. SendStudio is THE BOSS -- and as long as you keep your pricing low, you will continue to be the undisputed leader. SendStudio's present incarnation, despite the lack of filtering functions, beats ARP3, 12all, and every thing else out there (we know, we've tried them) simply because it operates in a lean, economical fashion. Keep up economy-of-processing in mind and you'll continue to maintain your first-place position.

The new version of SendStudio looks awesome - can't wait to get my hands on a Beta!

SendStudio is so much easier to install and use than some of the other packages out there and i think possibly the only one that allows you to embed images

Will there be an option to send a newsletter to multiple lists with out recipients receiving duplicates?

[ Editors note: Yes, this feature has been added -- mind you it wasnt easy, considering all the different scenarios such as 'what happens when a subscriber clicks an unsubscribe link, what happens when the custom fields are different for each user on different lists etc etc. ']

Will you be fixing the bug that adds an extra dot in front of Class definitions in CSS?

[ Editors reply: That bug has already been fixed in an update a long time ago. ]

I am currently using SendStudio but it doesnt appears to work in Version 5 or later of PHP . Will this version be compatibile with PHP5 ?

[ Editors reply: The current version DOES work with PHP5. You might still be running an old version. NX will also be PHP5 compatible ]

Wicked!! ss is the best. would be FANTASTIC if you would manage a subscribers subscriptions for all lists (rather than having to select each list 1st - this is so tedious)-and if the process bounces was not reliant on the IMAP module.
Thanks for the great product and hope some of these can be incorporated.

Can't wait to try those tried and tested templates as can never get it right....

Is the newsletter archive feature being enhanced?

[ Eddie's reply: Yup, the newsletter archive feature is now an RSS feed so you can pretty much do whatever you like with it. We'll also be supplying a PHP script to read the RSS feed and display it on your website ]
