Hi Everyone,
I'm happy to announce the immediate release of ActiveKB NX2.7.1.
This is a major release that includes 21 new features and 18 bug fixes!
The standout feature (and the most request) is the new frontend user system. This allows you to assign Frontend users from the admin, and then allow only certain groups (that those users belong to) to access specific categories and questions.
Another handy feature is the quick edit, which allows you to swiftly change an Articles Title or Content on the frontend.
On top of this we've also added PDF export, Article start and end dates, Article Copy Function, security enhancements, a heap of new category icons and a brand new template called 'Corporate' (Pictured Above).
Lots of great stuff down the track, so stay tuned.
Existing customers can upgrade from the client area. If you're new to ActiveKB, then start by looking at the features page and give the online demo a try. You can download it from the client area, if you have any questions or problems please post a support ticket.

Hello,
I think 2 years ago we have asked if it is possible to give eg. categories and articles eg. a "Danish" language flag, or a German language flag and a English language flag. Then it should be possible by Search eg. to define if you want to search for English, German, Danish articles or within all articles but I guess it got never implemented - maybe to complicated. We are customer! Best regards, MTP Data Aps [Jarrad: While there is no language management as such, you could emulate this to a certain extent now. Just add your categories as normal and change the icon to a new country icon. Then you can use advanced search to search on those categories, anything else please submit a support ticket] |

You mention 21 new features and 18 bug fixes. Where can I find a complete list?
[From Mitch: Hi Garett. We're in the process of updating the ActiveKB section of the site. It should be ready by tomorrow. There are a lot of new features so it's taken us a few days to put together the content] |
