Interspire Email Marketer 5 (Formerly SendStudio) Sneak Peek

Hi everyone. I've just finished putting together a 10 minute video overview of the new features coming in the next release of SendStudio, which has been renamed to Interspire Email Marketer. We've switched back to using internal version numbers, so there's no more "NX 1.4.1" - the next release is simply version 5.

New features highlighted in the video include contact segments, a new interface, custom views, creating custom fields (improved usability), choosing which fields to show on the "View Contacts" page for a list, sending a campaign to a segment and more.

Interspire Email Marketer 5 is currently under our final round of public beta testing with a select group of customers and will be released within 2 weeks. Simply click on the image below to watch the video - comments and questions are more than welcome.

Hi,
The improved selection method for custom fields and easier viewing/editing of subscribers' details will be welcome, thanks. Looks good.

Hello,

Any chance that you have a feature where I could search my lists
using a partial address?

I have 1.4.4 what will it cost to upgrade to this version and would I want to if everything is working fine currently?

thank you -

Hi
As a private-labelled "reseller" of Interspire Email Marketer, I would love to have a private-labelled version of this video to show my clients. What are the chances?

Hi Dianne. The chances are high - we will be creating a set of private label videos for our partners within the coming weeks and they will be posted for download in the partner portal.

Looks good!
As pleased as I've been with my current sendstudio, the one thing I don't see is the ability to bring up a list and see names, addresses, etc, in addition to the email addresses. Sometimes I learn that a lead should be deleted from the database, but have to manually search through email addresses one by one to find them to delete.

Hi Mitch,

As one of the beta testers, let me congratulate you and the Interspire team for some great improvements to the product. I'm really looking forward to the release.

However, there is one major issue that would prevent Email Marketer 5, from being used in a "true" CRM fashion, even a lite one.

Most CRM products, if not all, allow you to add contacts without email addresses, and add more than one contact with the same email address.

As Email Marketer 5, is foremost an email marketing program, it requires a unique email address for each contact added to the database.

Hi Michael. As you mentioned, the product is still 95% squarely focused on email marketing. We simply added a few basic CRM/contact management features to make it easier to deal with and search for contacts.
