DHTML not working

I'm an IWP newbie. While working simultaneously in the control panel and FTP'ing backup files from the server, I realized that the DHTML menus were not working. In addition, the free templates weren't visible anymore and the preview pages of my site were missing their styles.

I may have deleted something from the server to cause this. Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this? What file(s) could I have accidentally deleted?
