Its sad when i read a post from one of the staff members stating they are all busy with other products and will be working on the php.Damn, get off what ever products you are currently working on since we dont know about them, we dont care at least for now.I think you should rather chanel all your resources into making your promises valuable to your customers and give as the long over due php version.
I bought the .net version and had to get my money back refund since my hosting company didn't support .net which i for one didn't know at first. And like many others, we keep coming back to this site to get at least an update on when the php is actually coming out.
You have soo many competitors out there but articlelive has proven to be the best so far.And one thing i might have to remind you is, most of the people on your waiting list like my self each and everyday spend hours browsing the internet for other alternatives.WEll, i aint found one yet but we ARE STILL LOOKING.

Hi there,
I understand your frustration, lots of people are waiting on the PHP version. Development on the PHP version is under way though, lead by our newest team member, Eric Coleman. Unfortunately we still can't publish a release date because it's always so hard to predict, but as we get closer we'll be sure to release more info.
Thanks for your interest, and we're very sorry for the wait.

Hi guys,
I can understand your concern, however that's the exact reason why we don't publish release dates anymore: they're just too hard to keep. Anyone in the software industry will agree with this, and although we have Eric and also now Chris working 10+ hours a day on ArticleLive, as well as internal project management taking place, the fact is that it's such a large system that it does take time to develop.
Initially we under estimated the time needed to develop the ASP.NET version by about 8 weeks, which happens frequently, so with the PHP version we've preferred to keep fairly quite as development progresses so as to not give people false hopes about the release date, etc.
At this point however, we are about 85% done. All of the control panel is complete and the front end is well on its way to completion. We understand there are literally dozens of competitors on the market, and this does make us work harder, but at the end of the day we're at a point now where we can't release a half tested or under developed product, which I'm sure you understand.
Thanks for your patience, and believe me, it will be worth it.

Hope it will be the best PHP CMS on the market when it's out.
Waiting and looking forward.

Every time I asked about Articlelive on forums I always get the same reply:
"I'm waiting for the PHP version"...
I hope it lives up to the expectations.
Also I hope you consider added atleast a few of the feature I suggested in the feature suggestion forum.
Articlelive could be going big big places. On sitepoint and webmaster world their are entire threads dedicated to the fact that nobody can find a really great CMS.
Articlelive is the closest I have found, and with those extra features would be perfect!

I have been waiting since January when Interspire released their presales ArticleLive.com website.
I have always told that it will be released "in a few more months."
Months passed and after each "few more months", it's still another "few more months."
Why tell us about the PHP version in January when it's not going to be released anytime soon?

Hi Millionare,
Software development, as with everything else is unfortunately, not without glitches.
When we announced in January, we made a mistake. We announced way too early, and began design and development of the .NET version instead of the PHP. We knew ArticleLive was going to create some interest, but honestly, the huge interest has been very overwhelming.
The .NET version took a LOT longer than expected, mainly because I was the pickiest project manager alive :) We changed U.I implementation a number of times, added numbers of features, ideas etc, as our aim was to really build the best Article management software available, and we wanted it to be the best by far.
When we began development of the PHP version, we had a few troubles along the way, which caused some major (unexpected) delays.
We've now gotten very much back on track, the admin section has been completed, and the front end is going nice and smooth.
Id REALLY like to give an estimated time of completion, but i wont, as if we do have any more unexepected delays before then, I wouldnt hear the end if it :)
I sincerely apoligise for our initial early announcement, that was my mistake which ive learnt not to do again.
I gaurantee you, we're all working very hard (including weekends most of the time) to have ArticleLive PHP released as soon as is humanly possible, but we wont skim on quality or proper coding techniques to release earlier than it should be.
Please keep an eye on our website and your inbox and we'll let you know asap when we've got something concrete to report.
Cheers (and thanks for reading) :)
