Is there anyone else on the forum with a customized site? I'm looking for ideas for hacks and code to share.

Here is one that we are customizing right now (.NET & SQL): BusinessHelpCentral.com (http://www.businesshelpcentral.com/small-business-information)
Well, you see the site, and may not get the customization, so let me explain:
1. Took a existing template folder, copied to another folder name. did the required look changes to that template and loaded it using the Admin CP.
2. Took the existing admin directory and copied to another folder that will be used by the Authors for submitting articles using DevEdit. Customized the Article submission so few features that are shown by the Admin CP would not Appear in the Contributor CP. Also Users can edit their profile (description, image, password)
3. Added a module that control the size of the images posted and added a way to make articles' images that need to be of bigger size to be readable to automatically be converted to thumbnails with links to bigger images.
4. Users can only view images that they have uploaded themselves
5. Changed the Navigation and Columns order.
6. Added a Forgot password feature
7. Added a help section
8. Added more SEO features
