I'm wondering if I could integrate ArticleLive with other scripts so users could have one username and password for everything. Are there any bulletin board or email service scripts that ArticleLive can be integrated with? (fairly easily, anyway)

Hi Myles,

People usually want a specific one (eg vbulletin or phpbb), we can provide info on how to do a specific one but not in general (they all use different ideas, tables and so on).

So do you have a solution for either one? vBulletin or phpBB? That would drive a decision on which one to use. ArticleLive looks interesting (yet another product from Interspire we'll probably purchase), but unified login is important.

Hi,

We haven't done it before. It really depends on what you want to be able to do with it. A unified login, wher eyou are logged into both using the same form is one thing, but if you wanted them to share profiles, integrate comments and posts etc, then that is a lot of custom hacking that we will be limited in how much we can help you.

vBulletin integration is slated for inclusion in ArticleLive NX 2.0. It won't be before then (we have a 1.7 coming out shortly). We also don't provide custom coding I'm afraid.

When do you plan on releasing 1.7? If I purchase the product now, can it be upgraded easily and for free?
