Paging On Index Page

Hi,
I'd like to change my index page and basically use one of my categories for my index. I have a category page that selects every article and the pagination breaks it up nicely.

Is there an easy way to use that category template/panel as my index page or would this be a major change to the code?

This would be a major change :(

The front page prints news, featured articles and some recent articles, so it handles quite a bit.. is there something you don't want to show there, we can work out an easy way to remove/add a section to that list.
