Second week of strike action and I do think there is currently a malevolence to buying online now. Even those with courier options are being effected as the customer is suspending the purchase until they can get a 'quick delivery'.

The media onslaught telling us that a few days of industrial action will stop the world is taking its toll...

Yep. It's getting worse..

Friend of ours isn't in the union and wanted to go into work but they were threatened with all sorts of ugliness. Being told you need to wear your stab jacket to be able to go to work is not going to win anyone over.

... like they're going to get any sympathy after the Christmas period is over... It just means that folks will have time to find alternative services now.
