This happens when you have your Cron job set to run every 20 minutes. Cron is enabled for the whole system. That is, if you switch it ON then
everything is run that way - whether you schedule something in the
future or choose 'Send Immediately'.
If you have cron enabled, there is no way for Interspire Email Marketer to trigger it to
run if you choose 'Send Immediately' - so yes you have to wait until
cron is run again before it starts sending out.
There is a countdown on the 'manage scheduling' page which shows
approximately how long you have to wait for the newsletter to start
sending.
