Interspire Product Knowledge Base

To rename the directory where Interspire Knowledge Manager is installed (for example from /knowledgemanager to /faq or /kb) just do the following 3 things.

1. Login to the Interspire Knowledge Manager Control Panel and change the KnowledgeBase Url setting  to the have the new directory rather than the old on in it.
2. Using your ftp client rename the directory.
3. If you are using search engine friendly urls and had to modify your .htaccess file you might have to update the RewriteBase url in that file to the new directory name.

Now you should be done.
