Depending on which web site template you have chosen, brands will appear in different places in your store. Generally you will see a list of popular brands down either the left or right side of your web site. If you've assigned a product to a brand then the product details page will contain a link to the brand. Clicking on this link will allow you to see a list of all other products assigned to that brand. You can also go directly to the main brands page on your web site by going to www.yoursite.com/brands (replace www.yoursite.com with the location of your web site).
