Interspire Product Knowledge Base

MCRYPT is a PHP module used by Interspire Shopping Cart to encrypt credit card details and other sensitive information. Whilst MCRYPT is not required for general use of Intespire Shopping Cart, certain modules require it in order to function.

In order to use these modules, MCRYPT support for PHP must be enabled on your server. If you maintain your own web server, you can  learn how to enable MCRYPT support from the PHP MCRYPT Documentation page.

Alternatively, you may need to contact your web host to enable this functionality.
