A news item is a type of blog entry. It will allow you to post news items on your store for your customers to see. You begin creating a new news item by logging in to the control panel of your shopping cart. After you have logged in you will need to click the Website Content tab that will make a drop down menu appear. Then click on Create a New News Item. Once the next page has loaded you will be presented with a few things that need to be filled out to create the news item. The first thing is the Title which is self-explanatory and is a required item. Once you have typed in a title for your news item you can then type in the content to for the news item in the editor box below. Once you are done filling in the content in the editor you can click the Save button to save the new changes.
