The shopping cart has a built in tool to help with debuging that could be useful for a number of reasons. One reason that this is really useful for is when you are experiencing problems with your shopping cart. With debug mode enabled you are given more information about what is happening behind the scences, therefore, giving you a better understanding on where to start trouble shooting. If you would like to enable the debug mode follow the steps given below.

1. Make sure you are logged into the control panel of your shopping cart. Then click the blue Settings link at the top of the page.
2. When this page loads please click the Logging Settings tab to be taken to the proper page.
3. After this page loads you will need to look for Enable Debug Mode? under the System Logging section.
4. Put a check mark in the box to enable the debuging mode.
5. Click the Save button to save the changes you have just made.
6. To disable the debuging mode just uncheck the same box and save the changes

If you would like further functionality from the debuging mode you can append ?debug=1 after any URL to get a list of any database queries and their execution time.
