This article will guide you through the steps to import customers that you have in a CSV file. Please follow the instructions below to perform this task.
- Make sure you are logged into the control panel of your shopping cart. Then click the Customers tab to make a sub menu appear.
- In this sub menu click Import Customers. This will take you to the proper page to continue.
- You will face some options and settings for the task you are about to perform. If you would like to overwrite existing customers already in your shopping cart then please select that option. The rest of the settings are all required, and need to be set.
- After you have filled out all necessary information click the Next button to go to the next step of the process.
- You will now have the option to match where the data is pulled in from in the CSV file. Please select the correct settings for this step. Make sure everything the shopping cart knows what data in the CSV file is used for what in the shopping cart. This is all done on this page.
- After you have made the necessary changes click the Next button. Then you will be shown a button that says Start Import. Please click this button.
- When the operation completes you will be shown whether the process was successful or not. If you run into any problems be sure the all the settings are correct, and try it again.
