The shopping cart keeps track of the searches that take place by customers using your shopping cart. The shopping cart then puts this data in a convenient format for you to view. This is helpful in search engine optimization, finding out what your customers want, and other applications. To learn how to view your search statistics follow the steps given below.

1. Make sure you are logged into the control panel of your shopping cart. Then click the Statistics tab to make a sub-menu appear.
2. In this sub-menu click the Search Statistics link. You will be taken to the proper page.
3. When the page loads you will be presented with a few way of viewing the data. These can be explored by clicking the different tabs on the page.

This will help give you a better understanding of what your customers are wanting, liking, or maybe needing. This can also help you know what keywords to use as meta keywords to help improve your page ranking with search engines.
