WebEdit is a simple to install (we offer FREE installation if needed) and easy to configure PHP web server script. It requires the following:

User Requirements

• Operating System: Any Windows, Mac or Linux
  
  
• Web Browser: Internet Explorer v6.0 (Windows) or above / FireFox (Windows, Mac, Linux) / any Gecko-based browser (does NOT include Safari)

Web Server Requirements

• Operating System: Linux, Unix, Windows
  
  
• Web Server: Apache Web Server or IIS
  
  
• Scripting Language: PHP 4.3 or above
  
  
• Database: MySQL 3.23 or above
  
  
• Other: PHP must be able to write to your site files
  
  
• Other: There must be NO restrictions on browser-based file uploading if you want file uploading to work. This includes but is not limited to open_basedir, file_upload, etc. Also, allow_url_fopen or PHP's CURL library must be available. If you're unsure whether your server meets these requirements, simply contact us with your FTP details and we'll check for you free of charge.
