Hello, I am having an issue with images for my webpages within the shopping cart. I upload the image no problem, but it cannot bee seen. (See attached Example.) If I try to do it again I get a message saying that image is already on my server.....where, how can I access it? I am not a computer genius obviously, but Interspire support has been virtually useless to me....Please help (English - not computer lingo) PLEASE!

Hey there...

Well first off, there isn't an image attached to your postin which makes it rather difficult to see the problem. :)

Would you either attach that image or more fully describe exactly where your NOT seeing your images?

Cheers.

Thanks for your response. I dont know why I can't seem to attach this... anyway, I cannot see the image anywhere. I see a small box with a red triangle in it, a blue circle and a blue square. Next to the image is the image description. I have seen this icon before in other programs and I am sure it is some stupid little thing, but it is making me crazy! Any help you can give me would be so much appreciated!

I am not sure if you will be able to see it with the above link, but I thought it was worth a try.

I navigated about 4 product pages all of which displayed the product image, no problems. In fact, I did not see a single instance of what "looked to be" a missing image.

You might want to check the settings of your browser as you might have disabled image viewing. An easy way to test this theory is to view the site with another browser.

Hi Mark,

It is not the "product" images I cannot see... it is images I am trying to upload to my Web pages. The link I sent you takes you to an education page. there should be a picture of an actual Oyster with a real pearl in it. A Photograph. Do you see a little box with a redand blue shapes in it and the "oyster with pearl"

Everything looks fine to me. You might take a screen shot so we can see what you are actually seeing. There's apparently an issue on your end.

Ok, folks... put down the firefox and step away from it... it never helps in these situations..

You need to use Internet Explorer to see the problem which is located in the main content block...

This is a sample of the code that has the problem and it seems that it's not including any kind of image source which is incredibly odd... My guess is that there's a problem with a snippet or similar but I couldn't say definitively without spending time I don't currently have (sorry :()
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="__mce_add_custom__" alt="" />Oyster with Pearl&nbsp;</p>

There is definitely a problem though...

LOL - Yep, I can see it in IE. Firefox just ignores it.

The problem is this:

<img class="__mce_add_custom__" alt="" />Oyster with Pearl&nbsp;
is NOT proper. It should read:
<img class="__mce_add_custom__" src="[some image source]" alt="" />Oyster with Pearl&nbsp;

You should go into the page edit mode, open up the HTML editor, remove the img tag (posted above) and re-add the image to the page.

Things sometimes get screwed up in the editor.

I have the same problem of the images that want to add to my web page is uploading, but not appearing in my image gallery. In addition, I'm unable to upload product images! I've had a help desk ticket open for days and no one has even looked at it.

I tried to take your advice and I viewed the html code however my html code had a src:
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;<img class="__mce_add_custom__" title="Jill Brittsepiaedited 342x408_2.JPG" src="/product_images/uploaded_images/Jill Brittsepiaedited 342x408_2.JPG" alt="Jill Brittsepiaedited 342x408_2.JPG" /></span></p>

So this looks correct to me. I have confirmed that the image exists on my server in this location. But I still have no image showing up. Plus - when I go back into the image gallery (where you can upload and choose from previously uploaded photos) my image doesn't appear in it at all any longer - it has disappeared - but it DOES exist on the server. Totally confused and frustrated!!!!! Anyone have any other ideas?

It appears that I have resolved my problem myself after waiting 4 days for Interspire to respond to a urgent help desk ticket (and then when they did they told me I had to upgrade...what bs)
I found that I had the 'broken image' problem when I was trying to upload a file from my laptop that had spaces in it -for example 'file name.jpg' didn't work but 'filename.jpg' did work.

So - give that a try. Hopefully it will help.
