Hi, I am new here.

I have a good deal of experience with 68 Classifieds andTemplateCodes (http://www.templatecodes.com/) which I run. I likewise want to get up the learning curve with Interspire quickly. My first question though is trivial for sure.

I would like to remove the newsletter module from the sidebar of the Jewelry template so it does not display on any page and replace it with a simple link to an extra page which has been defined with the Interpsire admin page editor. I can see the code which renders the newsletter in many files. Is it necessary to edit out the newsletter code from every one of these files or is there a quick way? I am probably overlooking something very simple.

I would have thought the quickest way is to edit the panel reference out of the default, page, product, category pages etc. - should only take a few seconds if you use the browse files function in the store design editor.

OK thanks. There is no global way to affect this change. I now understand the structure of the layouts which have to be edited individually or the panel reference needs to be cleared.

I would have thought the quickest way is to edit the panel reference out of the default, page, product, category pages etc. - should only take a few seconds if you use the browse files function in the store design editor.

If I click on browse template files, looking at my template, a new window opens with the files used by the template, and other files. But when I click on the other template files, it shows the panels used, then when I click on the panels, it shows the snippets, while there is a huge white space on the right.

Is something suppose to show there?

Also, I remember reading about the new master file. Where can I get more info about that? I think any time you modify a file in master, you have to save it in your template folder? default, page, etc?

Please advise & thanks for all your help.
