View Full Version : Product Detail Height

Trying to figure out where the height of the Product Details div comes from.

For instance, in Snippet HomeFeaturedProducts.html, there is a div with class=ProductDetails. When the final output gets rendered, this has style tag with height=60px. This is not in the snippet, or the associated PHP, and does not come from the CSS.

Any ideas about where this comes from and how to change it?

It comes from javascript code in the template panel file HTMLHead.html. If you want the height to be taller, I'd recommend just editing the CSS file styles.css and the CSS rule for .Content .ProductList li and giving it a min-height of 22em or 23em.

Thanks! It would have taken me days to guess that it was doing that. This is a neat trick to make sure all of the Product List <li>'s end up the same height, but it also causes inconsistency depending on what pages are currently displayed.

I might disable this and just do some kind of truncation of the text...

The Javascript/css combo can be a real nightmare to trapse through.

If the JS side of things was controllable through the backend rather than digging through the JS with a searchlight things would be a lot better!
