View Full Version : How do I center my logo?

Hello everyone. I am using store design Gadgets (yellow) - Version 1.3 and I am unable to figure out how I center my new logo that has been uploaded. It seems to "hang over" the edge of the available header space on the left. I have included the style sheet header and logo details below. Any help would be very much appreciated.:)

/* Header */

#Header {
width: 970px;
height: 88px;
clear: both;
float: left;
padding: 0;
margin: 0 0 0 10px;
display: inline;

/* Logo */

#Logo {
float: center;
width: 400px;
height: 78px;
display: inline;

#Logo h1 {
margin: 15px 0 0 20px;
padding-left: 70px;
font-size: 30px;
padding-top: 15px;
height: 45px;

#Logo #LogoImage {
margin: 5px 0 0 5px;

#Logo h1 a {
text-decoration: none;

#Logo #LogoImage {
margin: 5px 0 0 5px;

#Logo #LogoImage {
margin:10px 0 0 40px;

I'd highly recommend getting Firefox with the Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) plugin so you can inspect and edit css and html right in the browser to see how changes to your code will affect the layout.

Or you could cheat by downloading the header image, adding the logo anywhere you want using something like Fireworks, then upload the combined header image and logo..........:)
