Default NEW: Ideas.Interspire.com - Interspire Ideas Lab

Hi everyone. As many of our existing customers know, we take feature requests and feedback and use them to shape the future releases of our products. In general, around 80% of the features included in a major upgrade to a product have come directly from customers. The others come from our research.

Today we've launched ideas.interspire.com where anyone can post an idea or feature request for any of our products. You can also view existing ideas (which we've added to get the ball rolling), vote on them and leave comments.

We already have quite an open dialogue with thousands of customers via the phone, email and forum, but ideas.interspire.com will be the one central place where you can "officially" log your feedback for everyone - both us and our customers and website visitors to see.

The features you request and vote on will be used as the basis of future releases of all of our products, and even the direction we travel in as a company, so feel free to contribute - we really want to hear what's on your mind.

Hello,

Could you please tell me whether version 5 now has:

1. Clean SEO URL's?
2. A automatic google site map?
3. whether the spam problems via the feedback section have been fixed?

Hi,

Could you also tell us if category ordering has been included. I just sat through your 27min tour and no category features were mentioned.

Hi Steven,

In IKM 5:
1. Yes it supports Clean URLs.
2. We don't have this. (Have you posted it onto our Interspire Ideas Lab?)
3. could you please submit the details of the problem to our IKM support and we will be able to help you with it.

Hi,

I lodged a trouble ticket at the time in regards to the automatic spamming via unhelpful comments it was 295061.

The response at the time was

I have remove the html header and footer when people sending unhelpful comments.

"At the moment, we don't have Captch for unhelpful comment. I will talk to our product review team about this and hopefully this will be available for next couple release.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Hi,

Also wondering we got KM as part of the initial ISC bundle are we eligible for the 50% discounted upgrade? we never received any information or reminders in regards to a support plan.

It's not really a suggestion, but I simply cannot afford the new 'upgrade' costs...I mean $400+ for an upgrade for Knowledge Manager? The only difference between the one I have now and the new version is the ability to search PDF files and such...I can do without it although that is an awesome feature. I fund everything on my website privately, so it comes out of my own pocket and I get no money in return...thus it's excessive for people like myself. It looks like even the upgrade system *wants* me to add more users (I have no choice with the radio buttons)...when I'm fine with what I have now. It's quite confusing and frustrating at the same time.

I miss the old interspire in that it was very affordable with outstanding products. The products are still outstanding, in-fact 'amazing', but the pricing is more in line with everyone else now...out of reach for some (or most) customers. I know Interspire will continue to make money, but I can't afford it. Keep up the great products guys! I always talk well about your products to those in Government I talk to in hopes they'll go your route w/ the products.
