Default Bounce Only Works with Email Addresses on The Same Server/Hosting Account

I spent a lot of time trying to get a bounce email account setup that would connect properly. Nothing I tried worked until I setup an email account on the same hosting account/server where I have EM installed. Then poof it worked. This is a temporary solution since I want each of my clients to be able to enter their own bounce information as they see fit.

I apologize if this has been discussed in a different thread, I looked and couldn't find anything.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a firewall issue. Make sure your ports (TCP/110 for POP3 and 143 for IMAP) are open to the outside world.

Default Firewall issue

Is that something I could address in CPanel or do I need to call my host to confirm.

Thanks in advance,

FYI I resolved this. Because I had recently configured the domain I think this was just an issue of waiting for the new DNS Settings to propagate.
