Default Image store

Hi, can anyone tell me what files should be in the Image store folder.
My site was hacked and have deleted many files and may have deleted some incorrectly.
All I have in my images folder is a-z folders and an uploaded images folder.
I have uploaded my images directly into the image folder but they are not sitting in the a-z just in the main folder itself.
When I upload an individual picture when adding a product through admin it has gone into the "Q" folder but it cant be seen when opening the website up!
Help???
Any advice very gratefully received.
Kind Regards,
Lee

Default CSV Image uploader

This is driving me nuts!!!
6.1.8 i am resurrecting my site after a big hack and its going quite well except....
I created a new folder called import in the product_images file and have uploaded all my images via ftp to that import folder.
I added a few products manually and then exported the csv bulk edit spreadsheeet, added 80 items and it uploads really sweet except when you open the store there are no images.
I have called the images the exact name as it appears in the import file ie KCMACH_jpg etc but they do not show.
Any advice very gratefully received.
Kind Regards,
Lee

Hi Lee,
Interspire's csv import will pull from a qualified domain as well. Instead of "KCMACH_jpg" use "http://gr8-kitchenware.co.uk/product_images/import/KCMACH_jpg". Interspire will pul it from the directory and put it in it's arcane image directory structure.

Default CSV images

Hi Steve, thanks for your reply.

I have just tried what you suggested using the full url but still no success.

If I edit them individually and upload an individual pic from a file on my hard drive it works fine.

The permissions are 755 for the import folder and 644 for the individual pictures.

I even upload them from Mozilla Firefox in case my Adobe Flash was interfering.

Do you have any thoughts?

Interspire tell me that the default folder it draws from is "import" maybe it isn't?
Help.
Kind Regards,
Lee

I know this will sound silly, but I had lots of trouble at one point when my .JPG was .jpg

The extension is case sensitive. Other than that, the full qualified domain should pull the images without a problem.

My only other suggestion would be to try entering the full url into the address bar in firefox and see if you see the image. There could be something blocking it.

My email is Steve@Mayfield.net. Shoot me your csv and I'll take a look and see if I can see an issue.
