Default Private Label?

I was checking the docs/FAQs for Knowledge Manager and could not find any instance of private/white labeling for Knowledge Manager. I thought ALL IS products could be private labeled?

Hi there,

The private labeled document for IKM will be available online shortly.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I went through the document and I'm still stumped - www.new-results.com/kb
I can't figure out how to turn off the Interspire Links and replace the logos. I've changed logo.gif and logo.jpg in the images folder of the admin but that didn't work.

Hi newresults,

I just went to your KB, the logo seems to be fine in your admin panel.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Arthur sent me the guide and I also upgraded to 5.0 which was a big help. Thank you for getting back to me on this.

Can anyone please tell me how to change the favicon for both the Control Panel and the Frontend? I found the icons and replaced them with the icon I wish to use, but I am still receiving a generic interspire or IE icon. This is in IE7. The server is a Windows 2003 server running IIS and PHP 5.

Thank you,
-Steve

By the way... I tested this in Firefox and it works, but in IE it is still showing the generic IE icon. Is there something different that I need to do for it to work in IE? We have to use IE in our company.

Thank you.

Not sure on the setup of IKM as I've never used it, but would assume the templates are the same setup.

Open templates/__master/Panels/HTMLHead.html

Find:
HTML Code:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="%%GLOBAL_Favicon%%" />
Replace with:
HTML Code:
<link rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" href="%%GLOBAL_Favicon%%">
This should ensure compatibility in IE and Firefox - though IE is always a pig to pick up favicons.

If the template hierarchy is not the same between ISC and IKM, if you are using Windows on your desktop, use Search > Advanced Search, and search for "
