Default Where is the product images folder located?

Hi, I have had difficulty in uploading image files to ISSC 5.5 so i wondered if it was possible to ftp the image files. However i have had difficulty in locating the folder.

Does anyone know the path to the images folder?

root/product_images

If you're looking to use the wysiwyg editor to place images then upload the images to the root/product_images/uploaded_images folder. They will appear in the editor image select interface.

Hey, if you happen to be wondering why your thumbnail images and product pages look so bad (very jagged edges) I know why...

Its because your using GIF images - The cart does a VERY BAD job at resizing these sorts of images.. Use JPG only.. Or if your in 6.1.1 use PNG as well.. They will look completely different to what they look like now (which is terrible)

As an example - See attached image. (yours on the left, the proper resizes PNG or JPG on the right)

Thanks David. Will update the images. BTW looked at your web hosting again... but since i sell mp4's i need an enormous amount of bandwidth... something like 1,000GB/month. Pity Australian sites can't do that.
