Can we upgrade straight from 5.0.6 (which we're currently running) to 5.5.4? Or do we have to upgrade to 5.5.2 first, and then to 5.5.4?

Given the large amount of work in updating template / CSS customizations, etc., I would hope to be able to avoid doing this twice.

Hi Steve,

Yes - you can jump directly between different versions without problems - the upgrade system will detect and handle this.


lulu51 - if you click the "Cancel" button as per the message, the ticket will be submitted.

Hi David,

We did pass the templates back to our designers to correct the issues, as well as a bunch of issues discovered with upcoming templates which are yet to be released.

We haven't heard back (I'll be chasing this up with them today), but I've instead decided we'll be fixing the templates in house.

Note: I would reccommend you create a section in the forum for 'Patches and Work arounds' rather than one thread.. Over time that one thread will be to large. If it had its own section then it will be easy to browse through the thread list to find a particular issue.

I'm kinda confused right now. Due to the difference in time zone I'm in I thought I might get a faster confirmation from here rather than waiting for reply in my ticket. Seeing this 5.5.4 release, I updated my ticket to ask about the checking out using store credits fix. And this is their reply "5.5.4 doesn't exist, just 5.5.2. The bug is in 5.5.2 and we expect it to be fixed in 5.5.3, which should be available sometime in the next 1-2 weeks."

I just want to make sure my eyes are not playing tricks on me? And this thread is real? And the 5.5.4 update i saw in my download area is seriously ready for download.

Yes, what happened to 5.5.3, or was it quickly susperseeded with 5.5.4 within the day.

5.5.3 was used internally for BigCommerce so we skipped over to 5.5.4 when we were ready to do a regular ISC release.

That's what I did but it failed, no ticket being

I downloaded the 5.5.4 upgrade and the zip is corrupted, impossible to unzip
