Question How to Figure Out Default Email Marketer and Cron Interaction?

O.K. - is Email Marketer's only default setting to interact with one Cron job at a time?

Is there an *easy-ish* way for a noob to schedule regular, different intervals for bounce processing, sending, autoresponders, etc? I have decent server support and if I can't insert relatively simple lines of code into PHP, they can do it for me.

Or do I instead need a programmer for this, and it's not available in a default Email Marketer installation?

Thanks from the soles of my unworthy shoes for your help

In the Settings menu from Interspire you can set the time for each of the functions.
For instance sending every 5 minutes, bounce processing 1's per hour , etc ....

Then you set your CRON script on the server to run every minute. It will execute the different functions at the times you specified in Interspire email marketer.

After interviewing and hiring a good LAMP guy, he found that Interspire's default installation wasn't communicating properly with Linux and Cron. I took me several hours of work to find someone good, and it took him around an hour to solve the send queue. So if Interspire is having a problem delivering code that instead takes tweaking to function properly, it's clear to me why their support ticket system is unmanageable. It would be smarter if it was sold unsupported, so at least you'd know what to expect.
