Default Patch for MySQL Search Issue in IKM 5.1.5

Some customers have been experiencing a problem with the article search feature in IKM 5.1.5 when using MySQL. We are still trying to determine to full nature of this issue, and whether or not it is a bug. However, in the interim, we have a patch which seems to alleviate the problem for 99% of customers.

I am attaching an updated version of class.search.parent.php. If you are running IKM 5.1.5 on MySQL, and are having problems with the search facility, download this file and upload it to your IKM installation on your web server. The file should be placed in:

includes/classes/

overwriting the existing file.

After making this change, the fix should take effect immediately, but you should clear your browser's cache to be certain. If, after applying the patch, you continue to have issues with your search, please open a support ticket in your Client Area:
