Hi,

When you send, you have to use link tracking.

Then tick the "track my campaign using google analytics".

Then type in a campaign name (eg "newsletter march 2008").

When someone clicks a link in an email, sendstudio will track it then the extra google code will be added to the link.

Hi,

You make it up - google lets you do that on the fly doesn't it?

Is your website tracked by google analytics already?

No.

When someone clicks a link in an email, sendstudio will track it then the extra google code will be added to the link.

It is part of link tracking - which is why the option only appears IF you are tracking links.

Hi,

Fair enough, we'll work on it - though I thought it was obvious (it only shows up when you send - which means you don't need to change your content, and it only shows up when you are doing link tracking - which suggests it works with links..).

Hello,

I want to start testing campaign tracking with Google Analytics.
I have a Google analytics account tracking some sites. I have also link tracking enabled in the email campaign and I have added the name for the campaign to identify it in Google Analytics.

My question is.
1) I have to add a piece of code that Google gives me somewhere, otherwise how will google know to add the links to my account, and I want to know where that is. I am the administrator of the sendstudio system.

My next question is.
2) Where do I tell my users to add their code that they got when they added my site to google analytics. Presumably they will have to add the domain where sendstudio is running on to their analytics account?

Thanks and looking forward to your reply,
Fire
