How can I replace my missing, corrupted or empty Website Publisher 5 .htaccess file?

If you have deleted, emptied or incorrectly edited your .htaccess file, or your operating systems hides the .htaccess file so that you are unable to upload it, we have made it available to download from this knowledge base entry.

Please see the attachments list on this page, where you will find a file named "htaccess.txt" - this is a plain text file download that you may save to your computer, and then upload to the directory on your web server where your Website Publisher 5 installation resides.

Once you have uploaded the file to your website, make sure to rename it to exactly ".htaccess" (without the quotes) for it to function correctly. It is named "htaccess.txt" here so that it downloads to your computer properly.
