How can I give a single page or content item it's own website layout?

This article will show you how to give each individual content item it's own 'Site Layout' on the 'Website Layout' page. This will allow you to customize the layout for any content item specificy instead of the entire content type.
  1. Navigate to the 'Content Types' in the top right of your control panel, click 'View Content Types'
  2. On this next page, find your content type and select 'Edit'
  3. On the left, under 'General Fields', drag across the "Allow Own Site Layout" field to the right. This will allow the content item's layout to be modified form the Website Layout page.
  4. Save your content type.
  5. Navigate to 'Content' > 'View Content' and find your page/content item that you want to have it's own layout. Click 'Edit'.
  6. On this page, you'll see a new option labelled 'Website Layout' on the left with a checkbox and description "Yes, this Web Page has should have it's own layout". (The text 'Web Page' may be different.)
  7. Check this box and save your content item.
  8. Navigate to 'Design' > 'Website Layout'.
  9. In the drop down list where you can select a layout to modify, you'll see your content item listed. Select it and you can modify it's layout.
