After installing I get the error "Template file 'Default.html' couldn't be opened" when viewing the public area.

This problem occurs in some specific situations and is caused by the installer not saving the Knowledgebase URL, name and template correctly from step 1 of the installation process.

Double check that in your Interspire Knowledge Manager settings the Knowledgebase URL is specified correctly. Also try just saving the settings page in case the template isn't saved in the config file correctly.

The installer has been rewritten in Interspire Knowledge Manager NX to avoid this problem from occurring.
