We first want to emphasize that our software license does not expire like most others in the industry. You may continue using the specific version of Interspire Email Marketer that you purchased without an end date for that copy of the product.
Why have a Maintenance Agreement?
Our support and maintenance cover upgrades and technical support. During the term of the support agreement, you may download and install any published product updates to Interspire Email Marketer. You will also have continued access to our Support Team if you need assistance installing or using the product during said period.
Included Support and Maintenance
Maintenance is included for 12 months at no extra cost on all new purchases.
For a full year, you will be able to upgrade to any new version for free. You will be also able to contact our Support Team for questions or issues that come up as outlined above.
If you do not want software updates or support after the initial year, there are absolutely no ongoing fees. You can continue using the last version you are eligible to use that you have installed and activated. The 1-year time frame is merely for new updates and has no relevance to rights of use (as long as the EULA is not violated).
Your software will still work as usual. You can continue to run it if you don’t need any version upgrade nor technical support from us.
Maintenance Renewal Schedule
If you don’t have a current support contract and would like to enter into one, you can do so on a sliding scale based off the time of expiration of your previous support agreement or the initial support period.
The maintenance renewal schedule for up to 5 users is as follows:
- No gap: 25% of cost or $123.75/year
- Gap is less than 3 months: 50% of cost or $247.50
- Gap is greater than 3 months but less than 1 year: 80% of cost or $396
- Gap is greater than 1 year: 100% of cost of $495.
How to Renew
Please contact us to subscribe to a support and maintenance contract, to renew an existing one, if your license is for more than 5 users, or if you need further clarifications.
