The main cause for your QBWC program to fail is either because there is no SSL link to connect to your Shopping Cart, the SSL to your Shopping Cart is down or your SSL is self-signed. The QBWC will only work on a non self-signed SSL connection. If you are unsure about the SSL connect being self-signed, ask you hosting provider to see if it is, and if so to see if you can organise a non self-signed SSL connect.
