Why can't I upload my files for my downloadable product?

You need to check the permissions for your product_downloads folder in the root folder of your shopping cart installation. It is likely that the permissions are not set high enough to upload your files. The setting should be 777 and can be set using your favorite FTP program.

Some FTP programs call permissions "authorizations" or "file attributes".
