Composing and Editing Text

You can use the HTML editor to compose and edit text directly, in the same ways you would with a standard word processor or standalone web authoring tool.

Place the insertion point where you want to create, edit or paste text. Use the textā€related tools in the Design tools section of the editors to control the text formatting.

Manipulating Images

The HTML editor allows you to dragā€andā€drop images, and change their size and aspect ratio.

You can also click an image to display shortcuts to imageā€related design tools, see Editing Images).

Dragging-and-dropping an Image

To dragā€andā€drop an image, select the image and, holding the left mouse button down, drag it to the desired location (the new location must be within an HTML section capable of containing images). The cursor indicates the exact position to which the image will move.

Release the left mouse button.

Resizing an Image

To resize an image, select it and use the handles that display to drag it to its new size. Use the handles at the corners of the imageā€™s borders to resize the image, preserving its aspect ratio.

Resizing Tables or Blocks

To resize a table, click anywhere in the table. Use the handles that display to drag it to its new size.

  • Use the handles at the corners of the tableā€™s borders to resize the table. This will preserve the tableā€™s aspect ratio.
  • Use your mouse and rest the cursor at the imageā€™s vertical or horizontal borders until it displays the resize cursor, to alter the tableā€™s width or height.
